Robin's Thicket by Robin and June

Location: N 51° 31.207 W 000° 46.442 Difficulty: 1 Terrain: 1

"Robin's Thicket" seemed as good a name as any, since I wasn't too sure from the map if this was in "Robin Hood's Arbour" or "Maidenhead Thicket" :-) The lat/lon above is only a short walk from a free National Trust car park, east of the busy A404 and west of Maidenhead. Or you may prefer to park at the Shire Horse Pub on the A4. You should have no problem finding this cache hidden low in the arms of a multi trunked tree. The location is almost visible from an open glade with a seat. You may want to take the cache back to the seat and take your time with it. This cache replaces that originally planted in April 2002 in a less suitable spot and requiring clue tickets. This is an interesting little wilderness - I was struck by one place where moss was growing up small saplings - looked strange. Please take care re-planting the cache box itself and cover it well.
